Thoughtful Thursdays 0035

It's another wonderful week here in southeast Florida!  The PTO's BBQ and Bazaar is now over.  So, I can get back to concentrating on my first love!!!!!!!!!!

This week our challenge is anything beginning with 'L'.  You'll see mine below but first I wanted to tell you about our wonderful sponsor this week.  It's Stef from Glitterbabe's Art!  You'll receive 3 images from Glitterbabe's Art if you are the winner of TT0035!

I chose hands of love!  I love, love, love this image.  It is so realistic looking!!

I have to admit, I've used it before for a challenge but again, it's so realistic, who wouldn't?

I forgot to add Mr. Linky.  That's what I get for being in a hurry!!!

Don't forget to add your link with Mr. Linky before noon (EST) on 11/24/10

Let me know what you think!

Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for playing along!

Thoughtful Thursday 0034

Well, now that my computer decided to cooperate, I can get on to this week's challenge!

We have a wonderful sponsor for the letter K.

Digi's with Attitude - Here's a little blurb...

About Digi’s With Attitude!

Digi’s With Attitude! is a Digital Stamp Company that brings sass & attitude to your stamping projects!
Meet the newest attitude in town!
’Grumpy Gretchen’ is a sure beauty with sexy curves and very unique facial features.
Her hairstyles constantly change, as does her clothing and element she is in.
She is sassy and isn't afraid to show it! Everyone loves Grumpy Gretchen. We know you will too!
All images are 300 dpi and come in both JPEG & PNG formats.

As I said before, this week is K.  The very first thought that popped into my mind was KISS!  So, I decided that Grumpy Gretchen might not be so grumpy if someone kissed her.

Just a reminder - It's your take on the letter K.  Whatever you feel works for you so long as it starts with the letter K...kiss, kleenex, karma...

So, this is what I came up with...

I'm not fond of my own handwriting.  Writing my own sentiment here was very difficult for me but the alphabet stamps just wouldn't cooperate.  There seems to be a pattern developing in this house with cooperation.  UGH!  Hope it ends soon!

Remember, add your link to Mr. Linky by noon (EST) Wednesday, November 17 to be considered for our prize from DWA.  The prize is a wonderful gift certificate in the amount of $10 (Canadien).

Thanks so much for playing along!

Have a thoughtful Thursday!

Thoughtful Thursdays 0030

I'm on time this week!  HOORAY!  Before I get into the challenge, I want to let you know about a couple of changes.

1.  From here on out, I will be posting a weekly top 3 on Wednesdays.  (At least that is the goal!)

2.  I ask that if you are named as a top 3 you add my top 3 badge to your blog (if you have one).

3. If it is a week that my challenge is sponsored, I ask that you please add my winner badge.

Now, on to the good stuff - We are on the letter 'G' this week!  For me, G is all about the Grimm's over at Limited Runs Stamps.  Speaking of LRS, they are sponsoring Thoughtful Thursday again!  This time if you are the winner - you may select 3 of Nikki's lovely Grimm characters.  Since it is the Halloween season, Grimm's would make lovely, frightening cards!  Remember, you get to decide what G means to you.  There are no limits from me (though it would be nice if you used one of the digi's from our wonderful sponsor)

I'm also adding these to Barb's Simply Sinister Challenge @ Haunted Design House.  And Stef's challenge of Halloween and Sparkle at Glitterbabe's Challenge.

I've used Madison and Goober.

Mark, my youngest says that Goober is much more frightening than Madison is even though she's the one with the hatchet!

Here, I think she turned Goblin Green 'cuz she doesn't want to kill the Thanksgiving turkey.

I also have a plan for Madison around Thanksgiving!  Let your imagination run wild with that!!!!  Ooohh, I may have given it away when I told you about turning Goblin Green! LOL ;-)

Please remember to add your link to Mr. Linky by Wednesday 10/20/10 @ noon (EST - eastern standard time) to be considered for the top 3.

Thanks for playing and have a thoughtful Thursday!

Thoughtful Thursdays 0028

I'm so glad everyone is enjoying our travels through the alphabet.  It seems that we have more participants every week.  HOORAY!

Last week's winner is Lorraine.  Please email me with your 3 digi choices from Limited Runs Stamps.

This week we've moved on to the letter 'E'.  You may use anything beginning with the letter 'E' this week - embellishments, elephants, emus, egrets....  I'm guessing this week will be all about the embellishments.  I'm hoping for some surprises too!

Here's mine:

Initially, I thought I would run with embellishments.  However, I realized that Madison (from LRS) could use some googly EYES!!!  I also used some bling for embellishing the corners because all of us girls love a little bling!!!!

Remember to add your link with Mr. Linky.

Thanks for playing along and have a thoughtful Thursday!

Thoughtful Thursdays 0027

I want to thank everyone who participated in last week's challenge!  It's the greatest participation I've had with this challenge blog to date!  You've all made my day, week, and possibly month!  So, thank you, thank you, thank you!

We are still traveling through the alphabet!  No 'D' is not for duh!  Well, I suppose if you have a Homer Simpson stamp or digi it could be!

I've decided that for me 'D' is for digi!  Nikki at Limited Runs Stamps found me and left a link!  She has some great digi's on her blog.  In addition, she has volunteered to be our sponsor this week!!!!!!!!!  The winner of this week's challenge will receive 3 of Nikki's digis.  Hop over to her site and check out her fun digis.

I've used LRS's tadpole #2 for my digi image.

Due to the huge amount of participation, I've picked two winners from last week's 'C' challenge:  KymKreates and Grace N.  Check out The Angel Company website and pick a $7.95 stamp set, email me your snail mail and your choice and I'll get them out to you ASAP!!  Also, I forgot to announce the winner from thoughtful Thursday 0025 is Audrey E.  Please email me your snail mail for your prize.

Don't forget to add your link by noon Wednesday 9/29 (EST) to be eligible for the digi prize!

Please feel free to leave me a comment!

Thanks for playing along and have a thoughtful Thursday!

C is for Christmas Cupcake!

I haven't used many digi's in the past.  I think I didn't like them because my printer ink seemed to bleed.  Through the advice of my many blogging pals, I found that my paper was the problem, not my printer.  So, I tried some paper that was higher quality than I had previously used.  Voila - wouldn't you know - I LOVE DIGI'S now!!!!

Nikki at Limited Runs Stamps has some great digi's.  This happens to be one of them!

What do you think?

I'm bummed that you can't see all the lovely glitter.

Thanks for stopping by!
