Thoughtful Thursdays 0008

Boy, oh boy have I had fun with some cards today!  First let's get to what this week's challenge is...sadly this will be the last Thoughtful Thursday challenge dealing with Valentine's (well, for me anyway).  So, the only thing you have to do this week is use a digital stamp.  It doesn't even have to be a Valentine.  I would prefer it to be but hey...I'm easy what can I say!  OK, I made two cards for today's wonderful post.  After I finished them, I went around searching for which blog challenges they matched up with - fortunately for me it was MANY!  Above the first card, I'm going to tell you which challenges it meets.  Between the two, I'm going to list the challenges they both meet.  Below the last, I will list the challenges that only it meets.

Here goes:

Heather's Monday sketch
http://glitterbabegreetings.blogspot.com/2010/02/hands-of-love.html gave me this great digi!  BTW, my oldest son latched onto this card for his girlfriend!  Hunh!  I must have done something right for a change!!ROFL!

My cyberspace friend Patti was inspired to 'finish' the insides of her cards which inspired me to 'finish' mine.
Crazy 4 Challenges - Valentine themed card - both of mine are.
The Pink Elephant - Mushy Gushy Valentine - both fit again.
edit - THT 036 - say it with love

Now, I purchased 'thanks honey' from squigglefly.com because Stef got me hooked.
I used Maria's Tuesday Template from last week.  Sorry haven't gotten to this week's Maria.
Squigglefly challenge blog - #35 shaped Valentine using non-traditional colors.
Squigglefly SNR color challenge week 5 - grey, pink and brown.

edit - 2/11 @ 9 - I got a gold star from this challenge

Last but certainly not least Creative Belli - ribbons

Remember to add your link to Mr. Linky by noon EST Wednesday, for your chance to win the challenge prize.

This week's prize is...

I'm planning ahead.  Can you tell what I'm thinking about?

Have a very Thoughtful Thursday!

Wicked!

edited 2 AM 2/1/10   ding ding ding  I just found out - this post makes me a winner, winner, chicken dinner!!  Yippee!

First, paging...Joan Ervin, I need your snail mail address to get your prize out to you.

Now on to the main part of the post!  I like to participate in my blogging/angel buddy Barb's challenges.  This week was Bridal Couture from the darkside.  I couldn't decide which way to go.  So, I made 2!!  I also used Heather's sketch for one of them.

It's really hard to get a good photo of crystal lacquer but I tried.

After I had finished them, they reminded me of Elphaba and Galinda (aka (better known) as Glinda) from Wicked!  My BFF was fortunate enough to see the play and told me all about it.  So, I purchased the book.  I love to read but this is one that I put down and come back to.  Usually, I don't put down a book until it's finished but this is a really tough read.

What do you think?

Hope your Sunday is supreme!

Thoughtful Thursdays 0001

edited 7:50 AM 11/13/09

I'm absolutely terrible with computers.  So, this first challenge is going to be super easy.  Actually, they all will be for a while until I get much better.

Today's challenge is a sketch!

Just a normal A2 card.  The red blobs can be any embellishment you'd like.  Remember to put some sort of border around your sentiment.

Here is my first one:

Don't forget to add a link with your creation!  You have until 12 PM (noon) EST Wednesday to add your link.  Thanks for playing!!

I'll post a second one for more inspiration on Saturday!

I hope your Thursday is thoughtful!
