See, aren't you excited? Only one day since starting my second blog and I'm posting again! My angel friend, Barb, has a Halloween blog. I do my best to participate in her Macabre Monday challenges. This week's challenge #005 was to create something based on your favorite horror movie. Well, the Wizard of Oz isn't really a horror movie but the Wicked Witch of the West does and always has given me the CREEPS! So, I used her as my inspiration for my creation.
Here it is:
Thoughts?
Have a thoughtful Thursday! (too corny?)

Love your card! Great idea using the witch from WOZ! I wouldn't have thought of that one. And Thoughtful Thursday would make a great challenge blog name, don't you think? Have a great day!
I love this stamp! The trail of pumpkins & skullies is wild!
This is beautiful, Suzanne! LOVE the background, and I've always been a fan of that image :) Thanks for playing along with Macabre Monday!!!
Love this card. I have this stamp too-isn't it fun!!
suzanne i aabsoulutely love this stamp, i think it is so cool, and i love what you did with it awesome job...can't wait to see it in person...
I agree with Patti, "thoughtful thursdays" would be a wonderful challenge theme...lol. This is a great card and I LOVE the shadows across the moon and the white highlights. Please do tell how you created this card.
The colored cardstock are from DCWV. Then the top layer is a piece of glossy white cardstock. I masked off the moon and brayered with charcoal palette ink then went over top of that with noir palette ink. I took off the mask and sponged in paris lights palette ink for the moon - in hindsight I should have brayered with it and wouldn't have had to sponge and there would be yellow highlights too. The white highlights are just gel pen. I added the purple at the end because I thought the sky needed a little something so I randomly streaked the purple around with a sponge. I can't remember which color of purple it is but it is a palette ink.
Thanks for the colors Suzanne. I really like the additions of the purple (it ups the eerie factor)!
